A Sunday meal for &#8220;Saturday-night carousers&#8221;, una comida de domingo para los juerguistas del s\u00e1bado noche.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6744 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.estudiahosteleria.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Flickr-brunch-750x335-300x134.jpg\" alt=\"Flickr-brunch-750x335\" width=\"300\" height=\"134\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.estudiahosteleria.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Flickr-brunch-750x335-300x134.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.estudiahosteleria.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Flickr-brunch-750x335.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Brunch, que es una mezcla de las palabras <strong>BR<\/strong>EAKFAST + L<strong>UNCH<\/strong>, se hizo popular en Estados Unidos en la d\u00e9cada de los a\u00f1os 30.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En esos a\u00f1os, cuando se hablaba de\u00a0brunch se refer\u00edan a\u00a0domingos por la ma\u00f1ana, entre las 11 y las 13 horas, tomando Bloody Marys, supuestamente para mitigar los efectos del alcohol de la noche anterior;\u00a0mimosas, bebida hecha a base de champ\u00e1n y zumo de naranja;\u00a0huevos Benedictine, huevos escalfados sobre una tostada de <em>muffins <\/em>ingleses y una tira de bacon o jam\u00f3n, todo ello recubierto de salsa\u00a0holandesa; tarta de caf\u00e9 y bagels con beicon. Todo en compa\u00f1\u00eda de amigos.
